We're doing it again! Another casual pot-luck at the Coombs residence in Clairmont. We are looking for at least six confirmed guests to hold the event, so please mark your calendars and come for a joyful afternoon of tasty organic eats and satisfying community connection. The pot-luck is 1:30-4:00; please come on time so we can give "thanks" and enjoy together!
This month, THINK SPRING; what does spring look like on a plate? If you want to "be green" bring your own plate and utensils.
Please bring a raw organic dish to share with the group and a recipe card with your recipe. Also, if desired, bring your notebook or blank index cards, and you can leave with a number of new dishes to play with at home.
On March 21st I made a hit tostada piled high with shredded lettuce and a mange, tomato and avocado salsa. To make the tostadas/tortillas; buy organic frozen super sweet corn and mix with flax seeds, garlic and orange juice. Then dehydrate at 105 until you like:)
4 cups corn
1/2 ground flax
1/2 cup orange juice
1 clove garlic
1/8 teaspoon sea salt.
