The Mansfield Raw Food Feast Meet up Group - Saturday, June 27th. Next weekend is our next scheduled meetup. Please RSVP 'Yes' and mark your calendar to choose to be here. You are welcome to bring whatever suits your pleasure. Please bring enough to feed 8-10 people. I think that with so many wonderful fruits in season, we might orient around a theme of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. Local to our area, and now available, are summer squashes, berries especially easy to find blueberries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, figs, and such. Also, summer season includes tomatoes, cucumbers, cherries, mangos, grapes, avocados, peppers and so much more. Most supplies to our area of these later ones are still coming up from more southern places. I will make sure we have some "greens" here too! Where do you buy your fresh, raw food? I have been checking out places to purchase from local farmers, so bring information you have in this regard for a point of discussion. It is "potluck" so meal time might just be full of surprises! Looking forward to seeing y'all here!

Join a great gathering of people who are upscaling their eating lifestyle to "real" "living" food. We are celebrating with our Springtime (March/April) Raw Food Feast. We are establishing a core group in the southern mid-cities area who desire to meet regularly and share raw/living foods in potluck style. Plugging into a Raw/Living Food Group is a great way to share recipes and experiences and support each other through transitions and beyond. What to bring: A 100% raw vegan organic food dish for 6-8 people. Suggestions include bringing your own lovingly prepared dish or if you prefer to keep it simple, a few organic avocados or a bag of organic salad greens for a communal salad bowl are always welcome. If you prepare food, please bring an index card with your recipe. Visit www.ctrimmer.com for more food ideas. Your own plate and eating utensils (to minimize trash) Most importantly, bring your relaxed self (and possibly a friend or two) and be ready to learn, share, and enjoy vibrant, delicious food! Well-behaved, closely supervised children are also welcome. Your $2.00 donation is also appreciated (to help support the cost of using this meetup service) AGENDA: Dinner bell starts ringing at 5:45PM 6:00PM Community Feast!!! We look forward to being with you!

Welcoming you in this New Year! Many of you thought about New Year's resolutions and some of you even formalized and launched them. Better health and wellness is a typical resolution, usually in more specific terms of diet and exercise. So, almost 2 weeks into it, how is it going? Beside enjoying great food and company, we will discuss celebrating health and wellness practices through a life time. RSVP now! Till then, Be Well! Carolyn 1-26-09 I am looking forward to having you all here to bring this new group into a more solid formation. As always, I will have some salad fixin's here. I also plan on making broccoli soup (broccoli from my garden)--the recipe is posted on my website under Resources-Cookbook--; Raspberry dressing; avocados and dulse; and banana "ice cream." This is a potluck so either bring a raw food dish to share or make a financial contribution to cover the cost of food provided.

Come join us at a great gathering of life-loving people who choose the pursuit of upgrades on all levels and, in this case, "beyond organic" food and fellowship. This is a Raw Food Feast (Potluck Dinner Party) so bring something simple or something more elaborately "feast-y" to share with at least 8-10 people. The dinner bell starts ringing at 5:29PM. We will give thanks and start eating promptly at 5:59, so please be on time! At 7:46, we will circle up for community discussion. This is a time for publicly releasing your curious and inquiring mind (AKA asking questions and sharing thoughts). All are welcome to stay for this discussion. We will close out our evening together promptly at 8:59PM. A $2 cash donation is appreciated to cover the cost of sundries. Ozarka Spring Water (.5 liter) will be available for 25 cents per bottle. Go to http://www.ctrimmer. com for more information and ideas of what to bring.
