It is potluck time again and this time, In true holiday spirit, we will be giving out some delectable surprises to some lucky participants.Cold winter nights do not have to be lonely, especially when you can be part of such a vibrant, lively, living food community.

KIds enter free to all our events and are always welcome!!

Participants are required to bring a raw, vegan dish to share that can feed about 8-10 people. If you are unsure what to bring, and new to these potlucks, we suggest you bring some fresh fruit, salad, sprouts or alike, something simple. These meetings are about much more than just the food!
You do not need to bring any plates or utensils, we will have all that at the loft! Please, do indicate ingredients of your dish on a paper since we do have people with food allergies and sensitivities. Thank you for your cooperation!

At this time we are also looking for volunteers who can help us with various tasks related to the potlucks. We need people: to collect entrance fee, cleaning the dishes and general clean up after the potluck. The volunteers who will help us at each of the potlucks will attend the evening for free as exchange. Please, send me an email to: info@rawinmontreal.com if you are interested in helping out.

C'est le temps du repas-partage et cette fois, dans l'esprit du temps des Fêtes, nous réservons à quelques heureux participants de délectables surprises. Les froides nuits hivernales ne doivent pas forcément être solitaires, surtout lorsque vous pouvez faire partie d'une si vivante et vibrante communauté en alimentation vivante.

Les enfants sont admis gratuitement et sont bienvenus à toutes nos activités communautaires.

Les participants doivent apporter un mets végétalien cru à partager, qui devrait servir environ 8 à 10 personnes. Si vous ne savez pas trop quoi apporter, nous vous suggérons des fruits frais, des germinations ou quelque chose du genre. Quelque chose de simple. Ces rencontres sont plus pour les gens que pour la nourriture!

Vous n'avez pas besoin d'apporter vos assiettes ni vos ustensiles : nous avons tout ça au Loft! Veuillez, s'il-vous-plaît, indiquer les ingrédients des mets que vous apporterez, pour ceux qui ont des allergies ou des sensibilités. Merci de votre collaboration!

Nous recherchons des volontaires en ce moment qui nous aideraient avec diverses tâches reliées aux repas-partages. Nous avons besoin de personnes prêtes à : recevoir les frais d'admission, et d'autres pour nettoyer la vaisselle et faire le ménage après le repas. Since the weather is getting pretty chilly and the days are shorter (sorry, did not mean to depress you guys), we are obliged to move our potluck gatherings to an inside venue.

This month we are meeting at The Raw Diva's Headquarter's and will be enjoying our potluck there.
Bring a raw dish to share, enough to feed about 8-10 people and it would be also great if each of you could write down the ingredients of your dish, since we do have people with certain food allergies or sensitivities.

We will be starting our potluck at 5pm, due to popular demand, and so please, arrive on time.
Arriving and setting up will be from 5-5:30pm and we really would like to start eating by no later than 6pm.

There is a $ 5.00 dollar charge for the potluck, as it has always been when we had our potlucks in an inside place. This fee is to cover the cost associated to the potluck.

We are looking forward to seeing you there, whether you just joined our group or have been in our group for longer time.

I really hope that we will be able to enjoy another sunny, warm day outside and have a great picnic potluck!!!
We will be meeting at Park Jeanne-Mance, which is easily accessible by bus and metro, and is close to downtown. (there is parking available on the side streets, just be careful with the signs!!!)

"Exact meeting place": as precisely as I am able to describe, just come and look for us on the grass between Ave de l'Esplanade and Parc Avenue. There is a nice, wide walking alley which is the continuation of Rachel street and have benches on each side, that is what you need to look for! We will be on either side of that walk, but very close to it, facing the stairs, and not on the same side where the statue is and where they have the Tam Tams!

Learning from last time's experience, we will still put up some green and yellow colored balloons but I will also wear a nice, wide rimmed straw hat, so you can pick me out of the crowd. Anyways, look for the group that is not using any heat to prepare their food!

I really hope that there will be picnic tables available, but in any case if you are worried, you might want to bring a blanket (I will have a big one) and foldable chairs for your own comfort.

In case of rain we will be meeting at 2620 Frontenac, #101, a short walk from metro station Frontenac on the green line. ( There is also a bus on Frontenac that goes by there, you need to take 3 short stops with that from the metro). If we are having the potluck inside, there will be a $5.00 entrance fee and we will all bring a raw dish to share.

If you are new to the group, just bring some fresh, organic fruit, some crudites, some sprouts or anything simple. Don't be too obsessed about the food just come and join the great energy this group has!

Let's try to keep it simple, think finger foods, crudites, fresh fruit, anything we can eat easily and be able to leave very little garbage behind.

1. This is going to be an outdoor adventure and so bring your frisbees, soccer balls, sidewalk chalk and whatever else will help make this fun! KIDS ARE WELCOME and WANTED! We do not have any arrangements but will let you know in case the forecast is really bad for that day!

2. Keep it simple, Sunshine!

It's almost Summer and sometimes the very best dish you can bring is a big platter of mango, melon or fresh organic strawberries! Think FINGER FOOD! Keep it simple. Toothpicks make great utensils instead of forks!! The less "stuff" you bring the easier it is!

If you want a little plate, bring one, if not, just bring finger food and nibble while you chit chat and play!! If we all bring toothpicks and some easy finger food, then this will be a lot of fun and really simple!! That's MY kinda potluck. ;-)
