A few messages before Easter folks:

Nicole made an absolutely fab apple pie for the potluck on Sunday and has sent on the recipe, see below.

There is also some lost property that was left behind – I have a white square ceramic bowl, a plastic rectangular dish with blue lid and a clear plastic salad server fork. Let me know what is yours and I can bring along to the next events for you to collect.

Our next potluck will be in Glenhaven . John & Lotus have kindly offered to host it at their house. The park is lovely but towards winter it just gets too cold to sit outside. Sunday April 26th - this is only 3 weeks away. The following Sunday 3rd May is the Vegan Expo so we don’t want to clash with that. I will post more information for the potluck on the website.

EB Organics home delivery over Easter etc. Due to the public holiday on Friday 10th our home delivery will be early.

If everyone can order by Tuesday midnight this week (tonight) that would be great and I'll send out the orders on Wednesday/Thursday. Also a reminder to our Saturday Market customers, we are closed for the next two Saturdays 11/04 and 18/04 and Home Delivery will not be available next week.

Ladybird Wild Rocket
Ladybird Baby Spinach
Ladybird Mesclun

Nicole’s Apple Pie


Crust:
Pecans 1 cup
Walnuts 1 cup
Raisins 1/2 cup
Figs 1/2 cup chopped
Sea Salt pinch
Nutmeg pinch

Add to food processor and then pour into a pie dish and press into dish until firm. Put in refrigerator until filling is ready.

Filling:
Apples, red peeled, no seeds 3 cups chopped
Figs 1/4 cups chopped
Pecans 1/2 cup
Flax powder 2 Tbs.
Agave 1 Tsp.
Cinnamon 1 Tsp.
Sea Salt pinch

Pour into pie crust.

Aesthetic Topping (optional):

Top with apple and pecans for decoration. Combine agave nectar and lemon juice to use as a glaze so decorative apples won't brown. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top for added appeal and serve with your favorite raw cashew cream.
