  •  Hello Joy! Thank you for the warm welcome. Can't wait for the raw food meet up in January, (my first one) I think my tastebuds will explode and my mind will overflow with new recipe ideas, really looking forward to it. :D See you there.

  •  Hey Joy,

Thanks for responding to my join request—and so qucikly!

Yeah, I'm pretty comfortable connecting with basically anyone, vegan, raw, or not, or anything inbetween. :) That said, I really would (and do) enjoy the company of people who "speak the same language" as me and have had similar experiences.

One thing I'd love to experience is some raw potlucks, or similar events, so your meetup group sounds great. Kind of reminds me of Toastmasters (I was a member for a year).

  •  Thanx for the welcome. Attended my first Raw/Vegan etc dinner last night, Lovely restaurant in Glebe. Everyone looked healthy and beaming, and then me, bloated, overweight, full of toxins; that was just seeing my reflection in the bathroom mirror!! Still, its all good. Progress is the key + now I've made this first step - well who knows whats ahead! Hopefully excellent health, happiness and serenity. Now that would be nice! Im looking 4ward to new life, healthy & happy!
    Regards, Kathryn :-)

  •  Hello Joy, Great to "meet" you and I look forward to meeting everyone in person one day.
I was so happy to see that there was a meet up group in Sydney.
Looking at the foods you all brought to Lucinda's, I would say ours are pretty much the same.
For our potlucks, twice a month, we go to two set venues which are "donated" and our meetup
group meets all over the place. I went to a potluck (do we Aussies call it that?) in Toronto last
month. The food there had slightly different flavours.

  •  Thanks Joy, it was an awesome experience. The cheetah was breathing and purring so loud, it was amazing.. The photo was taken at Canberra Zoo. The king cheetah is one of the rarest animals in existence, its on the endangered species list, so there is a breeding program at Canberra zoo and I got some photos taken with the big cat
