This is one of the best walks you can do to see some of the best northern beaches. Starting from Manly we will walk over to Harbord beach, over headlands to Curl Curl and walk to the northern end for a swim, then over the headlands again (approx 30mins of bush trail walk) to Dee Why, walk to end of Dee Why and over Golf Course, viewing spots to Collaroy. We can either end at Collaroy or continue 10mins to Narrabeen. The total walk is not that far (around 10kms max). It is mostly an easy walk with some semi steep ascents when climbing to headlands. The track is clear and easy. Swim stops at any beaches that are desired to swim at and any of the rock pools at each beach. Bring raw or vegan food to share for picnic along the way. Bring lots of water, swimming gear, sunscreen and either thongs or shoes easy to take off as there is a high % of beach walking Please ensure your rsvp is accurate "yes definately coming" or changed to "no" if you can't make it. If you are running late or have an emergency please do call or txt my mobile number as we are not wanting to wait around unsure if you are coming or not.

Thought I would establish this monthlty meetup so anyone can join in and new members can come along with their experiences. Share ideas and thoughts on vegan and/or raw food diets and listen to others experiences. Agenda: 6.30pm - Introduction to group - Karyn 6.40pm - Introduction of members - All 7pm - Orders for water, coffee, tea, food 7pm onwards - open group discussion Ideas for discussion - What are the benefits you believe that a change to a vegan or raw diet will provide? How would you go about changing to a vegan or raw diet? If you have increased your diet to include more vegetable and less animal products, what have you experienced healthwise? How easy is it for you to prepare and make food that is vegan or raw? Do people find help in changing diets and what support would you suggest? This coffee shop is large and very quiet with excellent seating for group discussion. The ordering options are flexible so you can either order a drink or food incl fruit and salad if you desire. Look forward to meeting new people and catching up with the rest of the group. Karyn

Hi, Anyone into the outdoors might find this a pleasent way to spend the day; Walk from Spit Junction to Manly and swim afterwards if desired. Meet outside the kayak shop close to the bridge and stairs on the left hand side facing north. We then walk over the bridge walkway and down the stairs to the start of the bushtrail which is an easy 10kms to Manly beach. We go past some fantastic views and beaches if you want a swim along the way. Bring some vegan or raw food to stop and have lunch along the way. At the end we can either go for a swim at Manly or if bluebottle risk, the beach next called Harbord. Public transport - many buses go past here but check with driver if they stop at the Spit. Parking available in carparks close by. You need to be sure about coming so we know to wait for everyone before heading off. Karyn
