Hello Friends!

Prolonged exposure to radiofrequency and microwave radiation from cell phones, cordless phones, cell towers, WI-FI and other wireless technologies has been linked to interference with short-term memory and concentration, sleep disruption, headache and dizziness, fatigue, immune disruption, skin rashes and changes in cardiac function.

David O. Carpenter, MD and Director of the University of Albany, Institute of Health and the Environment concludes, “The existing FCC and international limits do not do enough to protect people, especially children, from daily exposures to electromagnetic fields and radiofrequency radiation. The existing safety limits did not anticipate these new kinds of technologies affecting the health of people living with and using wireless devices on a daily basis. These effects are now widely reported to occur at exposure levels significantly below most current national and international limits.”

Brain tumor specialist Dr. Lennart Hardell, MD, PhD works as both an oncologist and a researcher at Orebro University Hospital in Sweden. He is an expert on cell phones and brain tumors. “The evidence for risks from prolonged cell phone and cordless phone use is quite strong. For people who have used these devices for 10 years or longer, and when they are used mainly on one side of the head, the risk of malignant brain tumor is doubled for adults and is even higher for persons with first use before the age of 20 years.”

Come and discover some of Bio Pro's breakthrough products and technologies powering the world's first patented and proprietary solutions to counteract the effects caused by Electromagnetic Radiation.

Hello Friends!

Since officially April Showers Bring May Flowers (perhaps not in Calgary), I thought that this month would be a good time to showcase edible flowers. I have found beautiful edible flowers at Community Natural Foods and perhaps they are available elsewhere as well, maybe even in your organic garden? Did you know that humble broccoli is a flower? So is cauliflower.But for more info about the prettier varieties...

Here are a few websites to get you started:

Hello Health Seekers!

With so much interest generated by the Healing Cancer form Inside Out DVD, we decided to show Mike Anderson’s first masterpiece Eating.

Save your breath trying to educate and convert your loved ones to a plant based diet. Let this 88 minute DVD do the talking for you and it will leave your loved ones speechless, but empowered and motivated to change their eating habits. The science is undeniable; a plant based diet reverses all diseases! This is the best video to help create a shift in one’s thinking.

NOTE: This DVD does not promote a raw food diet in particular but does promote a 100% plant based diet which is a huge first step for most people. A balanced raw vegan diet restores your health more quickly and fully, but most people will never go that far.

RAVE stands for:
R – NO Refined foods
A – NO Animal Foods
V – NO Vegetable Oils
E – NO Exceptions and Exercise

Last time we showed this documentary we had a full house so please register early or order your copy today if you cannot attend. We have the Eating DVD available at $13.00 each, or The Rave Diet book & Eating DVD combo for $26.

The Eating DVD is used in wellness clinics throughout the world to motivate people to change their diets and restore their health.

RAW FOOD MEETUP: EATING 3rd Edition - a documentary by Mike Anderson. Approximate running time is 88 Minutes.
WHEN: SUNDAY, April 26th, 2009 TIME 2:00PM to 4:00PM
WHERE: 36 Hawkfield Cr. NW, Calgary, AB T3G 1Z5
COST: $3.00 RSVP is required due to limited seating.

Join over 20 million people throughout the world who have watched this award-winning film. It covers a lot of ground very comprehensively - and all within 88 short minutes. Among the many highlights are interviews with Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Neil Pinckney, Dr. Ruth Heidrich and Dr. Joseph Crowe.

What critics are saying about the film:

"Rivet yourself to your chair and watch Eating, a mind-blowing video experience that will forever change the way you think about food."
- Joel Fuhrman, M.D., author of Eat To Live

"Eating is a brilliant program. It provides an easy and engaging path to health through good food. I highly recommend it."
- Neal Barnard, M.D., author of Breaking the Food Seduction

"I want both to congratulate and to thank you. You've done us all a major service."
- John Robbins, author of Healthy at 100

"A professionally executed, powerful and moving film. It should be shown to children. They have so much to gain."
- Reuben Allen, VIP Magazine

"The best tape on the subject I have ever seen."
- Hesh Goldstein, Health Talk Radio

"A compelling and often shocking look at the standard American diet. Asserts that following federal nutrition guidelines can kill you."
- American Library Association

"With the ever-growing popularity of programs like the Atkins diet, seeing what commercially produced animal fat and protein does inside of you is a true eye opener."
- Bobbie Willis, Eugene Weekly

"I'm in full agreement with your points and give my endorsement. I was pleased that you identified USDA price supports as a major cause of disease in the US."
- William Harris, M.D., author of numerous books and articles

What viewers are saying about the film:

"I was struck by the clarity and simplicity with which you explained the various concepts, and I learned quite a few new facts. I just kept thinking about how much I want my relatives to see it."

"Without a doubt, this is the most powerful and disturbing video that I have ever seen; it is a magnificent piece of journalism, worthy of a Nobel Prize because you have rendered a great service to mankind."

We will have all of our books, kitchen tools, raw super foods, supplements, and cosmetics available for purchase, for all your RAW FOOD LIFESTYLE needs. We currently accept cash and cheques only.

Yesterday the twig was brown and bare;
To-day the glint of green is there;
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!
