My friend Matthew Human is coming to town! Matthew is a fabulous magical musician, raw foods enthusiast, world traveller and a very magical world server. His music is danceable, listenable and, most of all, CONSCIOUS! He is on tour with his new release called BREATHE, and we're honored that Richmond is now part of the tour. We will have our June Meetup at his concerta, and we have some very exciting news about this: The owner of the Blue Fox Cafe has happily agreed to serve up at least one Raw Vegan Dish for us to enjoy before and / or during our meetup at The Human Concert! If you would like to be on the team to teach her and her sister how to make some delicious raw dishes for us to purchase at the event, please contact me immediately! Doors open at 6pm and Human will play two sets, starting around 7pm. The Blue Fox closes at 10pm. Human's Website! Human on Current TV! See Human June 13 at Blue Fox Cafe Human writes this about his BREATHE tour which our Richmond gig is part of: Breathe Release and U. S. Acoustic Tour! Aloha Friends and Family and Fans of Humanity... This is Human writing from Tucson, AZ. The Breathe Acoustic U.S. tour is underway! I am joined on the trail with Brockell Briddle on vocals and fiddle, Sweet Yelena on percussion, and our tour manager Jen Floyd. We are travelling across the country in my ethanol minivan! This is a really cool, special event offered by Robert Davenport. Robert is willing to share his new foot bath spa detoxer with us at a potluck! Since a number of people will be involved in a juice feast to some extent or other, the potluck will consist of fresh juices--so bring along your favorite orgainic fruits and veggies. It takes approximately 30 minutes per detox session, thus the reason for limiting attendance to only 6 people. If you are interested, you had better RSVP as soon as possible to reserve your spot. Cost for this event will be $8.00--$5.00 to cover Robert's costs and $3.00 for Meetup costs.

Companion animals on leashes welcome! Will Tuttle is the author of The World Peace Diet, which illuminates the connections between the mentality required by our meals and our culture's social, political, and spiritual problems, as well as the environmental and health consequences that are more well-known. The book has received powerfully supportive reviews by people in the vegetarian, animal rights, and peace movements. It is published by Lantern Books in New York. ?The World Peace Diet is one of the most provocative books I?ve ever read. I felt challenged and stimulated by its profound insights, and called to question ever more deeply what Will Tuttle calls ?the taboo against knowing who you eat.? This is a deep book, aglow with insights that penetrate and expose the complacency of a culture that has strayed painfully far from compassion.?
