The World Peace Diet: Being Healthy and Saving The Planet Sponsored by Earthsave Chicago, the Chicago Diner, Ethical Planet, Saturday, June 13th 4:30 – 6:30pm, $15 (lecture only) SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Raw Vegan and Regular Vegan Potluck following 6:30pm - 8:30pm www.rawfood.meetup.c Please forward this to your friends and family! If you wonder how the food you eat affects your health and well-being and that of those you care about, you shouldn’t miss this lecture. Will Tuttle delivers a no-nonsense talk about the food we choose, where it comes from, and how it may be harming us physically and spiritually. You will learn how we have all become disconnected from nature and how that disassociation impacts our health, our environment, and our spirituality. You will learn how to make positive changes that promote health, encourage compassion, and minimize our footprints on the Earth. “Use The World Peace Diet as a guide to empower yourselves and others in making dietary choices that are powerful beyond what you can possibly imagine.” “A profoundly insightful and important book, The World Peace Diet is sure to be a catalyst and powerful tool in the evolution of human consciousness.” -Satya Magazine “Thought-provoking and recommended.” -Library Journal “The World Peace Diet is one of the most provocative books I’ve ever read. This is a deep book, aglow with insights that penetrate and expose the complacency of a culture that has strayed painfully far from compassion.” -John Robbins, noted author “Will Tuttle brings a priceless perspective—not only to the planetary crisis confronting us all, but also to powerful ways we each can affect it. This book is radiant with his learning and his compassion.” -Dr. Joanna Macy, author, Coming Back To Life Dr. Will Tuttle will present the main ideas in his book, The World Peace Diet. It has been called one of the most important books of the 21st century: the foundation of a new society based on the truth of the interconnectedness of all life. It is the first book to make explicit the invisible connections between our meals and our broad range of problems—psychologic www.worldpeacediet.o Feel free to come to the lecture only or the potluck only if you are unable to come to both events. |
