Buying a juicer...

and looking for some guidance.

Do I need one that makes nut butters and pasta? I have a good food processor already, but don't know if I should buy a more versatile juicer too?

Which juicers would you all recommend, and why? I care most about:
- high % of juice extraction
- large opening to feed fruit
- strength of motor

Anything else I should consider?

Thanks in advance!!!

Richard,

I have a breville juice fountain and I love it! While it is a centrifugal juicer and doesn't give as high quality juice as a twin gear juicer-It is much faster and you can juice whole pieces of fruit. For me, time is of essence and it is easy to clean and fast to juice. If you think you would need a juicer that homogenizes for nut pates and such than it wouldn't be for you but in my case it's great. Also, the twin gear juicers do juice wheatgrass and are much better at getting the most and best juice from greens (but like I said, it takes longer-and is much more costly)
