starter plants at farmers' market, veggies WOW, and TOURS

how exciting to get locally grown organics at the green city farmers market! today
i got beautiful sorrel and spinach from Genesis Growers, fiddlehead ferns, baby collards and wild watercress from Green Acres, buckwheat sprouts, sunflower greens, and a shot of wheatgrass from Tiny Greens, purple asparagus, and lots more!!!!!!!!!!

most exciting is the huge assortment of ORGANIC STARTER PLANTS for your veggie or herb garden!!

most of the farmers have a great selection of tomatoes, herbs and other veggie starter plants! they will be carrying their starters for the next few weeks (not expensive either), so please support your local farmers and buy your plants from them on Wed or Sat 7am - 1:30pm! (instead of buying your plants from a store like home depot or jewel or non organic garden center.....)
