We hope your Fourth of July went well. Here at the Seattle Green Bag Campaign, things are heating up some more because we have only a month and a half until the election! We have lots of fun events and volunteering opportunities coming up that we would love to have your help with.

The main campaign focus these days is on voter contact, which will come in two forms - literature drop and voter contact calling.

Voter Contact Calling- Every Sunday through Thurs, 6:00pm - 8:30pm at our Eastlake office
Phone calling is really where we make the difference in reaching out to voters and we would greatly appreciate your help! Every hour of your time makes a difference. We'll provide snacks, drinks and call sheets! We are leveraging our money for maximum impact and have very few phone lines, so if you could please bring your cell phone and its charger that would be greatly appreciated.

Literature drop – Saturdays, July 25th and August 1st 8:30am - 12:00pm at various locations
Join us for a walk around key precinct neighborhoods to help us distribute campaign literature. What better way to get the day started? We'll provide coffee and snacks. More details will be emailed later.

EVENTS

July 18th Othello Neighborhood Street Fair
In case you can't join us on the 16th, we have a booth at the Othello Fair that we would love to have volunteers for!

July 18th Shoreline SolarFest 10am - 8pm
The SolarFest is going to be so much fun! It is a premier green event, Chris Jordan who was showcased at our campaign fundraiser at the Western Bridge Gallery will be speaking Friday night. But the main point in mentioning the SolarFest is that we will have a booth on Saturday and would greatly appreciate volunteers to help us staff it!

August 8th Duwamish River Fest
Yet another opportunity to help us table! Our main focus we will be reminding people to vote.

August 15-16th Hempfest
Our final voter contact opportunity and last push to remind people to vote. We would love to have you help us table.
