Welcome!
You are invited to attend a raw vegan potluck on the first Sunday of each month in Edmonds, WA.
There will be great raw vegan food, a variety of themes and topics, guest speakers and an awesome, friendly and supportive group of individuals!
Everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring guests and extend this invitation to others you think may be interested.
Please R.S.V.P. by e-mailing [masked] or calling [masked].
You don't need to be vegan or raw to attend but we ask that all food be both raw and vegan. If you're not sure what falls under these categories or what to bring please google "raw vegan recipes" or e-mail [masked]. We support 100% organic whenever possible; however, it is not required.
What to bring:
- Each person attending should bring a raw vegan dish to serve approximately 8-10 people.
- Due to possible food sensitivities and allergies please write a list of all ingredients in your recipe on a 3X5 index card. Please have it ready to place next to your dish when you arrive. We will have index cards and pens if you forget.
- You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own personal china/wooden bowls or dishes and chop sticks or silverware. Keeping it green!
- There is no set fee for this potluck. However, a donation of your choice is greatly appreciated to help cover the cost of supplies and incidentals.
R.S.V.P: Please call or e-mail Giacinta Vosika at [masked] or [masked] with how many will be attending.
Directions:
From I-5 North or South
Take Exit 177 - WA 104 W / Towards Edmonds-Kingston Ferry
Stay straight on 104 West / Edmonds-Kingston Ferry all the way to where you see a fork in the road where you can either go right to the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry or stay straight. Stay straight (to the left) and this will put you on 5th Ave. S. After you pass the fork go about .2- .3 miles and take the first right onto Elm Way. Go just a few seconds and as you curve to the right around a bend you will see angled residential parking spaces on the right. This is where the entrance to the grounds is. There is parking along the street however you may need to walk a bit. If you are driving East on 5th take a left onto Elm.
Next to the marked residential parking spaces there will be a sign posted on a pole that reads "Raw Vegan Potluck - This Way ->" The door to the activities room where the potluck is being held is to the right of the pool as you enter the courtyard.
If you need help finding the location please call me, Giacinta at [masked]. I will have my phone on and will do my best to hear it when it rings. If I don't pick up please leave a message and I'll do my best to call you back. I will turn my ringer off at 6PM therefore will not be able to pick up after that time.
Please don't hesitate to call or e-mail with any questions, comments or concerns you may have prior to the date of the potluck.
Many thanks to:
All of you who contribute in so many ways to make the raw vegan potlucks such awesome successes!
And last but definitely not least I would like to extend my deep gratitude to a dear friend by the name of Francesca Garibaldi. When she heard that a few of us were in search of a place to hold the potlucks in Edmonds she graciously extended the offer and invitation for us to use the activities room in her condo complex.
In having said this I would like to ask that everyone please leave a few extra minutes at the end of the potluck to help clear, clean and leave the area in good order. Thanks!
I look forward to seeing you soon!
Warmly, Giacinta Vosika [masked] [masked]
