Hey there, Raw Foodies of the San Fernando Valley! I am now your San Fernando Valley Pot luck planner person and we have an official date for our first San Fernando Valley potluck! So come out and bring your most delicious raw food recipe. Or ... bring a basket of fruit. Whatever your level of raw-experience, it will be well-appreciated. The important thing is to come and get to know new people and enjoy the beauty of sharing raw food!
Our gathering spot will be a lovely little park in Studio City/North Hollywood on Moorpark Street in between Tujunga and Vineland on the South Side of the street. The park is directly across the street from my apartment building, so I will go out early in the day to secure our spot.
Very important = be sure to bring your own tableware - plate, bowl, cup, utensils, and napkin. Also, bring a lounge chair or blanket to sit on.
Since this is our first official "San Fernando Valley Potluck" we will discuss what everyone would like for the future potlucks to entail. We will be brain-storming ideas for speakers, locations, music, etc.
Please please please be on time. That way you can fully partake in the food ... and the people. And, they can sample what you share. And please bring enough for 8 - 10 servings. And your tableware. And yourself!

    • “ Very nice. Just wish people would have brought larger amounts of food so we could get more than a tablespoon of each thing. The variety was great; lovely to have some VERY simple salads and plain fruit along with the more "gourmet" dishes. Lots of men which is often rare. Quite a variety of people. I enjoyed being outside. Beautiful, quiet park almost to ourselves. ”
