We have two great presentations scheduled for this month's Raw Food Meeting that you will not want to miss.

First, we have our dear member Susan Arent who will be giving us a talk about natural and organic skin care and body care. We each are careful and thoughtful about what we put in our mouths, but are we also being aware of what we put on our faces and bodies? Well, Susan will enlighten us with some great information and some options to try.

I am pleased to announce that we will also have a guest speaker at this meeting. Jennifer Montgomery, from Blackberry Meadows, will be speaking about her 85 acre organic farm in Natrona Heights where they grow 140 diferent varieties of fruits and vegetables and they also have free range eggs, local honey, fresh bread and hand-made soaps. Their farm is also part of a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) cooperative where the members receive a share of the crops on a weekly basis. As a result of this presentation and introduction, we may be scheduling a future warm-weather meeting at her farm.
