I am thrilled to announce that Matt and his crew at Maggie's Mercantile will be hosting an event for us on December 14th at their lovely location in Oakland. They will be making a special selection of wonderful and healthy holiday foods (all raw of course) for us to enjoy. You can take a day off from preparing your own foods and come and enjoy the delicious foods at Maggie's.

During the gathering, one of our new members, Benjamin, will give a talk about sprouting. You will learn how to grow your own wide variety of sprouts including beans and grains. Benjamin recently moved back to Pittsburgh from Florida where he spent a great deal of time learning about raw foods and sprouting. We are so pleased to have Benjamin as part of our group and look foward to the knowledge he will share at that meeting.

The event will begin around 1:00pm, right before the Steeler Game. Be sure to come and celebrate the season and expect a Steeler Victory later that afternoon!!
