THIS IS THE LAST POTLUCK BEFORE THE SUMMER BREAK.
In September, join us in Ottawa for the raw food festival.
In October, the monthly potlucks will restart at Toronto Sprouts.

This is a raw food pot luck organised jointly with Raw Food groups on Meetup, Yahoo, TVA, Facebook and supported by Toronto Sprouts.

Show up anytime after 6:30pm; we'll start eating just after 7pm.

Pay what you can (suggested $2 to $5) to cover the expenses of using the space eg hydro, etc.

We will not be providing Plates, Cups, or Cutlery, so please bring your own! Also we would prefer if you took your dirty plates home for washing, otherwise it uses a lot of hydro and hot water for Toronto Sprouts. We want to keep the cost of the potlucks at a minimum for the host seeing as they are free. Needless to say, we would request that you take your own garbage home too.

Please bring a small piece of paper with the list of ingredients in your dish so others can choose whether or not they are able to eat it i.e. people may have allergies to certain types of food, or choose not to eat honey or bee pollen. Or they may just want the list of ingredients to try the recipe themselves - its all about sharing!

Please bring edible raw vegan food like salad, fruits, vegetables, sprouts, seeds or nuts. Raw food doesn't include: baked, barbequed, boiled, brewed, broiled, CANNED, 'COLD PRESSED' (hot pressed) oils / dressings, cooked, distilled, fried, grilled, hydrogenated, nuked, PASTEURIZED, roasted, steamed, store-bought salad dressings, or toasted food.

It is hard to estimate numbers because people receive this notice through 5 different groups - Meetup, Yahoo, TVA, Facebook, Toronto Sprouts - but if you make enough food for 12 people then that should be sufficient as most people sample the dishes and do not take a full portion from each dish. The turnout will be somewhere between 30 and 70 people based on previous potlucks.

Kitchen available; come early (6pm) if you need time for food preparation.
