I signed up for the Happy Jumping un cooking class for today. It was great! Very
hands on - just like you are in your own kitchen. Marina did a great job explaining
everything and showing some of the techniques that she uses to make the awesome
food served there at the restaurant. The irish moss section was very informative.
Marina also sells it now (ready to be used - so you don't have to clean, soak and blend
it yourself! - unless you would like to do all that!) The nut milk section was very
interesting and there are nut milk bags available to purchase also. We learned how to make a deliciously sweet pecan milk. We also learned how to make cilantro cream (yum!) and how to make the flax cracker batter - including the proper consistency and time needed depending on the thickness of the batter, etc. We tried the bread with a yummy garlic olive oil and also the crackers. We were also treated to 'happy frappes' at the end of the class(strawberry or coffee flavored, depending on your preference) and got to take home the nut milk, cilantro cream and flax crackers. All in all, a wonderfully rawsome class - sampling all the delicious goodies as we went along. Great job, Marina and Lisa! Looking forward to the next event!
