  •  Hey man, sorry it's been so long since I shouted. I moved to Frisco (I know, I know....it's pretty much everything we stand against) but I was hoping to still be able to be in the group. I haven't even been to a meetup with all of you yet, but I will! I really want to meet you and make some new friends. I've got peace and good vibes to share! o.o

  •  I love the raw foods lifestyle, I believe it will make the eyes brighter and skin healthier, it is a little difficult to be as disaplined in the winter time; I am a good cook and will bake fish and steam veggies occasionally, the only dairy I eat is non-fat cottage cheese; not exactly vegan but it is raw food, it keeps my protein level up.
    I survive on raw foods in warmer months to save time and it keeps fat burned off, I'll carry grapefruits, oranges and bananas with me when driving.

  •  You asked about my talents/job;
    I work as a Personal Fitness trainer, group instructor, Nutritionist, Exercise Physiologist and Health Educator...though I have many different skills and a variety of knowledge.
    I have built log cabins, done gardening, and restored antique vehicles. Experienced stage lighting tech, paralegal and also been a silversmith.
    I am a guitarist, (spanish classical, folk, rock, etc.), and play various string instruments.

  •  Hi there...

  •  I did go. I got there at 6pm. I had to be somewhere at 8pm, so when I saw that it didn't start until 7, and how bad traffic was, I left. I live in Dallas -- I used to live in Plano close to PESH, but moved because I was surrounded with Bush supporters. Now I just have to work with them. I will definitely meet you and the group one of these events. If I RSVP, I'll be there -- usually.

  •  Sounds like one of my scripts. But, the dialog is what it is about. I'm always running conversations in my head, and so dialog comes easy. It's the details.

    I like the work you are doing here and look forward to meeting you tonight.

  •  Thanks 4 the shout. I've attended some good seminars here:
    http://www.blackwoodland.org/
    but it's a little far from DFW. Have you ever done anything with Texas Bioneers? They seem pretty cool to me. I personally want to learn more about Permaculture as a survival skill in a post-Peak Oil world of declining energy resources.

  •  Why thank you. Can't take full credit though, Gerald Massey said it. How was the Buy Nothing Day march? I wish I could have made it. And thanks for starting this, it's a great idea.
